   Summer is just a moment away, it's time to "buckle down" and get going.  It is the time of year that we put away the big bulky winter clothes and step into the shorts and t-shirts (YIKES!).  30 short minutes a day, three times a week is all it takes! 

Curves has helped over one million women reach their goals. With each one, we have learned a little more that will help you reach yours!
   There's only one Curves, but we have over 8,000 locations. worldwide to serve you. 

  Curves for Women is a program that allows you to perform aerobic exercises and strength training exercises at the same time.  Curves is a "30-Minute Fitness and Weight Loss Center." The machines are very unusual. They are made by Quickfit and use hydraulic resistance. There are no weights to add or pins to put into plates to change weights. The faster you move the more resistance you will feel.
   There are 10 pieces of equipment in a circle. Each body part is worked and the goal is to not only use and build muscle (It has been proven, it is no longer a theory, that weight training does protect and increase lean tissue which raises metabolism allowing you to eat more. In addition we now know that it prevents osteoporosis as well as a whole host of other illnesses.) but also to raise your heart rate through aerobic activity, which burns fat, improves your heart, lungs and vascular system.
